Christmas by the Sea
Once again this year the Lockeport area will be celebrating "Christmas by the Sea" starting on Thursday, December 1, 2011.
Several signature Community events are already on track for the festival including our annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, which will take place at Seacaps Memorial Park in Lockeport on December 1 (6p.m. start). A Christmas Craft Fair and Christmas Flea Market are two events set to take place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 3; the Craft Fair at the Recreation Centre and the Flea Market at the Pavilion in Seacaps Memorial Park.
Businesses are also invited to take part in the festival. You may wish to offer a festive event or perhaps an in-store special. Should you do so, you may also wish to take part in our cooperative promotional activities; in particular a small flyer we will distribute locally by mail and at participating businesses. If you wish to get involved in any way, please let me know at your earliest convenience so we can work out the details.
